Marie Hirst Yochim Classroom Building Complete

| The new ten-classroom building constructed on the KDS campus has been named for long-time supporter Marie Hirst Yochim. The building will be dedicated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. as a part of the Dedication Day activities. |
Sod was laid by the KDS maintenance
staff including
the work scholarship summer workers.
Despite early weather delays, the construction crews, along with the KDS maintenance staff, worked diligently and the building was ready for the final inspection at the end of July leaving ample "move in" time for teachers to prepare their new classrooms for the first day of school on August 15th.
Teachers and
students were excited and proud to
begin the new
school year in the brand new
building!
